Inclusion of SICOT-J in PubMed Central and DOAJ will provide international visibility and recognition for the journal’s authors.
The first issue of SICOT-J was published in 2015, and all articles are free to access. The journal is focused on publishing original clinical, basic and translational research in the field of orthopaedics surgery and traumatology.
The Editorial board of SICOT-J and EDP Sciences are very proud of the recognition of the exacting ethical and publishing standards applied by SICOT-J since the launch of the journal in 2015.
SICOT-J is led by Professor Hatem Said, of Assiut University, Egypt and Professor Jacques Caton, of Clinique Orthopedique Emilie de Vialar, Lyon, France. The editors would like to thank the Editorial board, reviewers and authors for their support, and they continue to welcome new article submissions.
SICOT, Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie, is an international non-profit association incorporated under Belgian law with the aim of promoting the advancement of the science and art of orthopaedics and traumatology at an international level (and in particular for the improvement of patient care), and to foster and develop teaching, research and education. SICOT’s commitment to education in orthopaedics is reflected by its various activities in diploma examinations, publishing of scientific journals, newsletters and books, as well as organizing world congresses, regional scientific meetings and courses and the creations of multiple fellowships and Orthopaedic Education Centers.
