Introducing Andreas F. Mavrogenis, new Editor-in-Chief of SICOT-J

SICOT-J is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andreas F. Mavrogenis as its new co-Editor-in-Chief. He replaces Dr. Hatem Galal Said who served tirelessly from 2015 and whom we thank wholeheartedly for his generous personal contribution to the journal. Dr. Mavrogenis will be responsible for overseeing the editorial process of the journal and will work closely with Dr. Jacques Caton, who continues to serve as co-Editor-in-Chief.

Dr. Mavrogenis was born and raised in Greece. He studied Medicine and Orthopaedics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He is currently an Associate Professor at the First Department of Orthopaedics of Attikon University Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Athens, Greece. He has clinical and research interests in musculoskeletal tumor surgery, traumatology, and reconstruction surgery, as well as a prolific curriculum in medical writing and editing.
