Call for Papers
Paediatric Orthopaedics is an ever-progressive field which is expanding its horizon with the increasing knowledge of basic sciences, genetics, biomechanics, drug modalities and surgical techniques for management of children’s disorders. Interdisciplinary collaboration is adding new knowledge to the best management techniques today. A special issue of SICOT-J will bring focus to these aspects.

SICOT-J is a Gold Open Access publication, therefore Article Processing Charges (APCs)apply.

Prof. Ashok N. Johari (India)
Emeritus Professor of Orthopaedics and Director, Children’s Orthopaedic Centre, Mumbai, India is the Past President of SICOT, IFPOS and WAIOT and also the Asia Pacific Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APPOS) and the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India (POSI). He has many original indexed research papers, book chapters and books to his credit. His research areas include hip infections, congenital posteromedial bowing of tibia, cerebral palsy and spinal deformities.
Prof. Lianyong Li (China)
Professor of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Head of the Dept. of Paediatric Orthopaedics, Shengjing Hospital and China Medical University and Vice Director of the Paediatric Orthopaedic Group of the Chinese Society of Paediatric Surgery. He is also widely published in reputed journals with over a hundred publications, and his papers deal with basic sciences, genetics and orthopaedic pathology.
Prof. Federico Canavese (Italy)
Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Head of the Dept. of Orthopaedics, IRCCS Istituto Giannina Gaslini Genova, Italy. Professor Canavese's clinical interests are spinal deformities, traumatology and neuromuscular conditions. Prof. Canavese is the author of more than 280 publications in peer-reviewed journals, more than 80 book chapters and editor/author of 10 books to date. He is also the Secretary General of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS).
