Elastofibroma dorsi: 44-year-old male with a painless mass in the right posteroinferior scapular region. Axial (a) and coronal (b) non-contrast CT demonstrate a poorly-circumscribed mass, deep to the serratus anterior muscle, with tissue of attenuation similar to muscle and internal strands of fat. Subsequent axial T1W (c) and T2W fat saturated (d) images have a similar appearance with signal intensity comparable to muscle and internal bands of fat which suppress on fat saturated images. Larger field of view T1W (e) image from the same study demonstrate a small mass with similar signal intensity within the left subscapular region.
