The Geissler classification [19] is commonly used to assess carpal instability and SL injuries. This figure shows a 3–4 portal visualization of the SL, with a presence of a gap between carpal bones that is less than the width of the probe, representing grade 2 of interosseous ligament injury according to Geissler’s classification. SL, Scapho-lunate ligament.
