SICOT-J is pleased to present the new special issue “HIP and KNEE Replacement”, guest edited by Cécile Batailler (Hospices Civils de Lyon), Sébastien Lustig (Albert Trillat Center) and Jacques Caton (Lyon, Institut d’orthopédie).
This special issue consists of 12 articles addressing orthopaedic advances or controversial subjects, including the following areas:
- Robotic-assisted surgeries
- Alignment of total knee arthroplasty
- Cementless tibial implants
- Polyethylene or ceramic in total hip arthroplasty
- Return to sport and arthroplasty
New technologies are vital to orthopaedic surgery and play an important ongoing role in testing and improving current knowledge and practice.
“There is no doubt that these technologies and current concepts are here to stay and as they improve, they will change the operating theatre of the future and the outcomes for our patients.” C. Batailler, J. Caton, and S. Lustig.
SICOT-J is an official journal of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et de Traumatologie (SICOT). The open access, peer-reviewed journal aims to further widen the educational impact of SICOT on the orthopaedic community.
