(A) Planning skin Incisions for PAO through modified Stoppa approach. The main approach through Pfannensteil incision, 10 cm long, 2 cm above the upper border of symphysis. A second lateral window, 5 cm long incision centered over ASIS to perform the iliac cut and allow for manipulation and fixation of the acetabular fragment. (B) Positioning and draping for the approach. The patient lies supine on a radiolucent table, ipsilateral leg is draped free. The fluoroscopy machine and assistant on the operated side, and the main surgeon stands on the contralateral side.
