Fifty-two patients with normal spinopelvic mobility in the relaxed seated position (ΔSSst-rs > 10°) are in the right quadrant. Twenty-four (46%) of them are classified as having a stiff spine (ΔSSst-ss < 10°) in the straight seated position (shaded area in the lower right quadrant), but they would not actually have stiff spines.
